Cairn Geal

This is an opportunity to help with a traditional croft on the north of the Isle Skye, overlooking the sea. We have sheep,  a happy band of chickens, a poly tunnel and a large vegetable area.

There will be a range of tasks, but we particularly need help with such jobs as fencing, haymaking, planting & weeding crops, collecting compost and seaweed, feeding stock, including lambs when available, and maintaining the general structure of an old croft and its buildings. 

The surrounding area is rich in wildlife, from whales and sea eagles to more sedate opportunities to seek out the large range of orchids and lichens. There are a variety of walks in the area... but not too many shops nearby.

You will need to be registered through the WWOOFing charity organisation (see link below) and make any application through them.
